The Padlock Ceremony
This matrimonial ritual began in Europe and is now more popular for weddings throughout the world.
This beautiful wedding ceremony begins with the Bride and Groom each having a padlock of their own. You can choose to engrave the lock with a special poem, perhaps a quote, your wedding vows, or the Bride & Grooms name and their wedding date, the choice is completely up to them and very much personalised. The Bride and Groom will then join both of their padlocks together, symbolising that just as the lock cannot be unlocked or broken, nor can their love and the commitment they share for each other. The padlock may come with a key, if so, it can be tied to a balloon and released into the sky during the ceremony.
